Backup

When I was in college I had no plans in life so there was never a possibility to think about backup plans. But after stepping into software industry I have learnt the importance of making main/alternative/backup/contingency plans in project. I have even observed people follow similar strategies in every single task they do in their daily life. But I can't imagine having backup for backup for backup for backup plan. Someone today mentioned backing up codes in four different locations, it sounded as if he was extra cautious but on the other hand I also felt, there was nothing wrong in having multiple backups for something very precious.
